End of the Line—For Now

With deep sadness, we announce that Rule G Brewing Co. is pulling into the station for its final stop—at least for now.

Many thanks to those who joined us Wed., Apr. 16th for our "One for the Road" party,

As we shared previously, we explored every viable path to keep operations running. Unfortunately, declining revenue over the past two quarters, rising production costs, and an increasingly unpredictable customer base have ultimately brought this journey to a close.

Our recent One for the Road event drew an incredible turnout — including many new faces and returning patrons we hadn’t seen in quite some time. While we’re deeply grateful for the support, it also gave us pause. As the only craft brewery of our kind in the area, we consistently implemented thoughtful event and marketing strategies aimed at enhancing the customer experience. The turnout left us wondering what more could have been done to generate that level of engagement during regular operations.

But the craft brew saga isn’t just our story—it’s happening across the country. The tracks have grown uncertain for many in craft beer, and we became one of them.

Rule G has always been more than a brewery. It’s been a second home, a place to build community where stories were shared, songs were sung, pups were petted, and memories were made.

Our deepest gratitude to:

  • God, Our Families, & Friends

  • Our Investors - for your trust and belief in us

  • The heart behind the brews, our incredible brewer Rex Reed

  • To Lisa, who not only wore/wears the marketing/PR/Social Media/HR hats, but stepped in as GM, cook, server, and talent booker

  • To our exceptional team, past and present—especially Samantha and Cameron, who stood strong through every trial, and Paul, a recent rock. To Bony, our past pub chef, and servers Mike, Jen, Rick, Cesar—thank you for your part in the ride.

  • Our amazing Mug Club Members—especially Kelly, Craig, Shawn, and Dave—for the countless volunteer hours and unwavering loyalty

  • Walter and TJ for their creative video and photo storytelling

  • Ryan & Paul at Printoly.com for our top-notch beer can labels and stickers

  • Angela Canora and Sharell Lester of Send Me an Angel Karaoke for fueling our karaoke nights and Sunday Game Days

  • Our Incredibly Talented Musicians - List coming soon

  • Deacon Mike and Fr. Martin (@ourladyofthesign)—thank you for your constant support and spiritual encouragement

  • To our regulars, new faces, and the pups who brought joy to our days—Murphy, Moose, Benji, Manchi, our beloved Tut, and our newest boy, Bubba—thank you. You’ve made this more than just a stop. You made it home
